The meeting on this topic for the LWVUS Agriculture Update Study took place at at the Cabral Ag Center, Assembly Room 3, at 2101 E. Earhart Ave, Stockton on Saturday, February 22 from 9:30 to noon. The forum was free and open to the public.


Speaker #1: Ora Van Steyn, District Conservationist with the Stockton Field Office of the USDA's Natural Resources Conservation Service, will provide an overview of government agricultural programs and regulations.

Speaker #2: Paul Sousa, Western United Dairymen, will be giving a farmer's perspective on animal management issues.
